Taxpayers' Ombudsman

Sherra Profit, the Taxpayers' Ombudsman, is having a town hall to provide information on taxpayers' rights and to talk about Canada Revenue Agency service issues. There is an English session from 4:30 - 5:30 pm., with a French session from 6 - 7 p.m. The event is free, but you can pre-register at [email protected] or 613-960-7920.

Their story starts when they started posting jokes on Facebook, which turned into skits, the skits became social media videos and now they’re doing a comedy tour. Tickets are $65 and available at facoffeecanada.com. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner is at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m.
