Fill the Van

Porcupine Mall, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; South Porcupine Food Bank, 4 – 8 p.m.

Celebrate Giving Tuesday by supporting the food bank’s fill the van event.

Taxpayers' Ombudsman

Wednesday, Nov. 28

Timmins Public Library, 320 Second Ave.

Sherra Profit, the Taxpayers' Ombudsman, is having a town hall to provide information on taxpayers' rights and to talk about Canada Revenue Agency service issues. There is an English session from 4:30 - 5:30 pm., with a French session from 6 - 7 p.m. The event is free, but you can pre-register at [email protected] or 613-960-7920.

Roland Michener Secondary School

Enjoy a delicious spaghetti supper and entertainment from RM students. Tickets are $9 for children and $12 for adults. Tickets are available at the office or at the door.

Porcupine Dante Club

Lou Greco and Carlo Russo are looking to make people laugh in Timmins. Their story starts when they started posting jokes on Facebook, which turned into skits, the skits became social media videos and now they’re doing a comedy tour. Tickets are $65 and available at facoffeecanada.com. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner is at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m.
