World Teachers' Day message
Dear Teachers
On behalf of the Northeastern Catholic District School Board of Trustees, I would like to wish all our teachers a very happy World Teachers’ Day.
Today we celebrate teachers and your very important role in our schools and the impact that you have on our students.
On October 5, 1994, the first World Teachers' Day was held and this special event has been organized annually on the same date since then.
In many countries, Teachers' Day is intended to be a special day for the appreciation of all teachers.
The Northeastern Catholic District School Board would like to acknowledge all of our teachers and the great work you do every day.
Catholic education is alive and thriving in our neighbourhood Catholic Schools because of our dedicated teaching staff.
