Freezing rain warning in effect for:

  • Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls

Freezing rain this afternoon and evening.

Snow is expected to transition to freezing rain or rain this afternoon. The freezing rain could linger for several hours before moving out of the region near midnight.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Utility outages may occur.

Freezing rain warning in effect for:

  • Kirkland Lake - Englehart
  • Temiskaming Shores - Temagami

Freezing rain expected today.

A wintery mix of snow, ice pellets and possibly freezing rain will continue this morning. Precipitation will change over to freezing rain late in the morning. Several hours of freezing rain are possible before the precipitation changes to rain this afternoon or evening as temperatures rise above freezing.
