Special weather statement in effect for:
- Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls
Freezing rain possible Wednesday evening.
Snow and rain on Wednesday is expected to transition to freezing rain or rain Wednesday evening. The freezing rain could linger for several hours before moving east and out of the region near midnight.
There remains some uncertainty as to the duration and intensity of this freezing rain event.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery due to freezing rain. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
