OPP and fire services in Kirkland Lake are teaming up for a food drive this week.
Members of both services will be at two locations to collect donations on Friday, Aug. 20.
Donations can be dropped off at Giant Tiger in Kirkland Lake from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Pettenuzzo's Your Independent Grocer from 1:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Organizers are aiming to collect 2,000 pounds of food for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
