Keep an eye out for fire trucks across the city this weekend and help stock the shelves at local food banks.
The Timmins Fire Department is hitting the streets for a food drive on Sunday, May 28.
Starting at noon, fire trucks from stations across the city will be out in neighbourhoods to collect non-perishable food items and cash. The donations are for the Timmins Food Bank and South Porcupine Food Bank.
Donations can also be dropped off at one of the community fire stations on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
If you want to volunteer for the drive, head to your local fire station for noon.
