KIRKLAND LAKE – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment, the Ministry of Natural Resources Enforcement Unit and the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners Junior “A” Hockey Club will be holding a “Fill a Cruiser for the Holidays Food Drive”.

The participants will be out collecting non-perishable food items on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016.

The first collection will take place from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Foodland Grocery Store on Government Road East in Kirkland Lake.

The second collection will occur from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Pettenuzzo’s Independent Grocer on McChesney Avenue in Kirkland Lake.

Staff Sergeant Rick Witty Kirkland Lake OPP Detachment Commander states, “We want to build on last year’s overwhelming success. All non-perishable food donations will be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards helping those in need through the Salvation Army Food Bank.”
