Construction work has started on Highway 101 between Bruce Avenue and Legion Drive.
According to the City of Timmins, the work starts this week and will carry on through until October.
“Work includes new asphalt paving, street lighting and box culvert replacement,” reads the city’s notice.
“Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Bruce Avenue to Legion Drive for the duration of work and the speed limit has been lowered to 50km/hr in the construction zone. Drivers are advised to slow down and be aware of construction workers.”
