Downtown Timmins BIA windows 

The book for this week’s Timmins Public Library event is The Darkest Dark by Chris Hadfield. The Porcupine Health Unit has been consulted and physical distancing signage will be included in the walk.

Downtown Timmins

The popular farmers' market featuring fresh produce, baking, local cheeses is set up on Third Avenue. There is hand sanitizer at the street corners, and be sure to follow the physical distancing arrows at the vendors' tents.

Timmins Police Auction 

Saturday, Aug. 15, 8 a.m.

Timmins Police Station

A collection of bikes, tools and jewelry recovered by the Timmins Police Service will be up for auction. The viewing is at 8 a.m., with the auction at 8:30 a.m.

Ride for Lydia Allard

Saturday, Aug. 15, 11 a.m.

J&B Cycle and Marine 

Warriors Hard Rock is holding a ride for Lydia Allard. It starts and ends at J&B Cycle and Marine in Timmins. Entry is $30 per person or $40 per couple.
