It's scaring up donations for charity

An annual haunted house is scaring up donations for local charities.

The Third Annual Toke Street Haunted House is back and will have those who dare to enter on edge.

Organizer Marc Lacroix said it's always a great time and they raise a lot for the food bank. By being open two nights this year, they're expecting a lot of people to go through.

The house is located at 395 Toke St.

It's running Saturday, Oct. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 31 from 7-10 p.m.

There is no admission cost, but people are asked to bring a donation of cash of non-perishable food items for the South Porcupine Food Bank.

It's all volunteers who put together the much-anticipated haunted house every year. It's sponsored by Lacroix, who is a realtor, as well as Royal Lepage, and Evans, Bragagnolo and Sullivan law firm.
