Special guests are lined up to stop by a couple Timmins Tim Hortons this weekend.

For the Global Day of Inclusion this Saturday, July 20, Special Olympians Julia Romualdi and Monica Yates will be at the location near Gillies Lake from 1 - 5 p.m., while Dan Dagenais and friends will be at the restaurant on Airport Road.

Tim Hortons is selling an exclusive Special Olympics donut for the event.

Romualdi and Yates have both won medals in Special Olympics competitions and will be out tomorrow handing out donuts and thanking people for their support.

Romualdi is currently on the leadership council for Special Olympics Ontario and said they want to have people involved in the organization.

“Special Olympics creates special lives for people who have special needs,” Romualdi said.

If you take a photo with the donut and/or staff, be sure to send it to Special Olympics Ontario here. For every photo submitted from a different Tim Hortons location, the Timmins Special Olympics or the Law Enforcement Run for Special Olympics Ontario will receive $25 credit from Special Olympics Ontario.
