KIRKLAND LAKE - On July 1, 2019, members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a domestic dispute in the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old, from Kirkland Lake, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code(CC),
- Mischief under $5000, contrary to section 430(4) of the CC, and
- Harassing communications, contrary to section 372(3) of the CC.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake.
The OPP will not be releasing the names in order to protect the identity of the victims.
