A popular fundraiser for the Anti-hunger Coalition Timmins is returning this year.
Empty Bowls is taking place at Northern College on Sunday, March 31. Tickets go on sale Feb. 1 and will be available at Dailey's Your Independent Grocer and Porcupine Timbermart.
The lunch features soups cooked up by local chefs and an auction. Ticket-holders also get to take home the handmade pottery bowl lunch is served in. Last year's event sold out in a week.
The event is a grassroots project to fight hunger and bring awareness to food security.
