On the 6th of November, 2013 at approximately 4pm an altercation took place in the area of Balsam Street South and First Avenue in the city of Timmins. As a result of the altercation one participant received a serious stab wound.
Information gathered at the scene revealed that there were several people involved and this was not a random act.
