Sometime between 4 p.m. on the 18th of April and 8:30 a.m. on the 20th of April, 2015 an unknown suspect had accessed the Deloro Landfill site in Timmins and stole several items from a vehicle within the compound.

Over $1000 worth of tools and other items were stolen from this vehicle however a greater concern lies within the safety of these thieves.

Citizens are reminded that landfill sites, mine properties, or dam areas are very dangerous; fences and signs are erected for your safety.

It is against the law to enter these areas as well as “picking” or salvaging from landfill sites.

If you can help identify the suspect in this matter, or anyone who may be responsible for entering such properties please call Crime Stoppers at 705-268-8477, or use the internet at tipsubmit.com to place your anonymous tip.

Your call is never taped or traced, and you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 if your information helps solve this case.
