COVID-19 exposure advisory issued for Timmins flight

People on an Aug. 22 flight to Timmins may have been exposed to COVID-19.

The Porcupine Health Unit has issued an exposure advisory for the Sunday, Aug. 22 Air Canada flight AC8285 scheduled to leave at 2:15 p.m. from Toronto to Timmins. 

People who sat in rows eight to 12 are considered high risk and must self-isolate immediately. They are also asked to call the local COVID-19 information line at 705-360-4819 or their local public health unit.

"All other passengers are considered low risk, we are asking individuals who used this service during these days to self-monitor for symptoms for 10 days following their potential exposure date," reads the advisory.
