Comic book heroes join forces to thank first responders

Local comic book heroes made special appearances today at the Timmins police station, the Timmins Fire Department, the EMS station, and lastly at the Timmins and District Hospital as a gesture of gratitude for front line first responders.

Thor, Spider-Gwen, Spiderman, Batman, Thor, Supergirl, and Captain America took time out of their superhero schedules to meet up with Const. Joseph Depatie earlier today so convey their thanks and support to the members of the Timmins Police Service, both uniform and civilian, for their continued dedication to their duties in light of the added stressors present in the workplace due to the Covi-19 pandemic situation.

This gesture of encouragement was coordinated by Const Rick Lemieux of the Timmins Police Service, who also attended in persona as "the Dark Knight."
