A water main break will have an impact on traffic near the Ramada for the next couple of days.
According to the City of Timmins, the break is in front of the hotel on Riverside between Emerald and McBride. Water in the area is temporarily off for repairs.
“For users who still have water but notice discolouration in the water, please let your water run until the water becomes clear,” reads the city notice. “Discolouration is the result of the occurrence of the break and/or the shutting of water main shut off valves. Once the water is restored to Customers, please let your water run until the water becomes clear.”
The westbound lane of traffic in front of the Ramada is closed, with vehicles being diverted to the south side. The work is expected to be finished by July 20 at 6 p.m.
