With today's winter storm, an overnight city-wide snow-plowing operation is planned, according to the City of Timmins.

A city notice says the plowing will start at midnight Thursday, Nov. 28.

"Crews will be deployed to plow city streets, rural roads, laneways, sidewalks and parking lots across the city. Some rural areas may not be plowed overnight and will be plowed during the daytime hours," reads the notice.

The city is also reminding people about the winter parking ban.

On-street parking is not allowed from 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
