Bundle up and get ready to warm your heart with a good-old fashioned tree lighting.
The annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony is tonight (Sunday, Dec. 17).
The tree is located near the play area at Hollinger Park in Timmins. Along with turning on the lights, there will be festive music and sing along, and free hot chocolate. All the fun kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
The Yo Mobile will also be there collecting non-perishable food items.
Lighting up the Christmas tree to bring the community together in the spirit of the holidays started in 2015. It was inspired by Miah Corbeil.
