The Ontario Northland Christmas Train brought a big dose of holiday cheer into Matheson.
Hundreds of people were at the train station to watch the brightly-decorated freight train pull into town.
Once it stopped, kids had the opportunity to walk through, meet up with with Santa Claus, sing some Christmas carols, and more.
Ontario Northland is bringing the Christmas Train to other Northern Ontario communities this week.
Tomorrow (Dec. 10) the festive fun is in Iroquois Falls at 6 p.m.
