The long weekend means changes to City of Timmins services.
Waste and recycling collection and transit are affected by Easter weekend.
There is no curbside garbage pickup this Friday, April 15. Residents who normally have the service on Fridays will have their waste collected on Monday, April 18. Collection on Easter Monday will continue as scheduled.
The Deloro Landfill is closed on Friday, April 15 and the Tisdale Transfer Site is closed on Sunday, April 17.
For people who ride the bus, Timmins Transit is not running on Friday, April 15 or Sunday, April 17.
On Easter Monday (April 18), it will run on a Sunday transit schedule.
