NEWS RELEASE

NORTHEASTERN CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

*************************
As September draws near the start of a new school year is upon us. The Northeastern Catholic District School Board and our family of Catholic schools are pleased to welcome all of our students and staff members back into our classrooms.

We have been very busy preparing for a successful 2017-2018 school year. I am very excited about the year ahead and look forward to working together to achieve our key priorities as a Catholic school system:

  • identify and respond to student learning needs
  • actively prepare our students for the 21st century

Each student’s educational needs, spiritual growth and healthy development are primary focuses within our classrooms. We take these responsibilities very seriously and will strive for excellence for our students.

We are also pleased to announce that September is Students Attendance Awareness Month. It is so very important that students are at school each and every day.

We encourage all of our parents/guardians to work in partnership with us to ensure that their child is at school, on time, every day, ready to participate in school.

Once again, welcome back to the new school year. We ask for your continued prayers for the success of our students as they journey with us in Catholic Education.
