NORTHEASTERN CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

The Northeastern Catholic District School Board annual board meeting took place on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021 resulting in the acclamation of the board chair and vice-chair.
Fred Salvador Jr. was acclaimed to the position of board chair for the upcoming 2022 year. This is Trustee Salvador’s second term serving in the role. Denis Lincez, long serving board member, representing the Kapuskasing area, was acclaimed as vice-chair of the board again this year.
Fred Salvador Jr., board chair, stated, “I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my fellow trustees for your on-going support and dedication to our roles as trustees. I am looking forward to working with all of you, our students, and their families throughout the next year.”
The annual meeting began with a virtual prayer service and a beautiful commissioning ceremony. Each trustee renewed their commitment to Catholic education and confirmed their Declaration of Office and oath of allegiance.
