Timmins Author Kevin Vincent will be offering a presentation on the history of highgrading throughout Timmins and Northern Ontario this coming Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

These intriguing tales of questionable characters and shady lawmen are sure to be of interest to anyone familiar with some of the most famous gold mines in Kirkland Lake and the surrounding area, such as the Lakeshore, Kerr Addison, Hollinger, Dome and McIntyre Mines.

These books are also the basis for an upcoming two-hour two-part documentary series on life in the North with a specific focus on highgrading, set to air in 2019.

Admission is $5, with tickets available for purchase in advance at the museum, or at the door.
