Following the close of nominations for the position of school board trustees, the English Separate School Board will be having an election for 4 trustee positions for the Timmins/ Moosonee region.
As the nominations closed on September 12, incumbents Peter DelGuidice, Colleen Landers, Ron MacInnis and Fred Salvador and newcomer Stephane Lefebvre had registered as candidates for English Separate school board trustee.
English Separate School supporters will have an opportunity on October 27 to elect four school board trustees from the 5 people running in the upcoming school board election.
Five Northeastern Catholic District School Board Trustees have been acclaimed to office for the next 4 years throughout Northeastern Ontario.
Starting in the Kirkland Lake/ Englehart region, Rick Brassard, current Board Chair and Steve Malciw have been acclaimed to the English Separate School Board.
In the New Liskeard/ Haileybury/ Cobalt region, Martin Drainville, has been acclaimed.
In the Iroquois Falls/ Cochrane region, Elizabeth King has been acclaimed and in Kapuskasing, Denis Lincez has been acclaimed to the English Separate School Board.
