It's the first snow day of the school year for Timmins-area students.
North East Tri-Board Student Transportation has announced that all school buses have been cancelled in its service area.
The cancellations are due to the weather and affect buses in Timmins through to Hearst and New Liskeard.
Elk Lake Public School, Temagami Public School, and Kerns Public School are closed. All other schools remain open for student learning.
The North East Tri-Board Student Transportation provides services for District School Board Ontario North East, the Northeastern Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario.
