FARM TO FORK CAMPAIGN

What an amazing turn out at Urban Park! The Farm to Fork campaign is thrilled to have volunteer fire fighter, Al Whalen, from Newfoundland and Labrador contribute his time, effort and energy for such a great cause.
If you stopped by Urban Park on Thursday, July 6, 2017, you would have seen Al Whalen dancing his way through the downtown Farmers Market collecting donations to support our local food bank. Mr. Whalen graciously participated in this event in loving memory of his late wife, Solange Gilbert.
That said, Al Whalen challenges the Timmins Fire Department crew and volunteers to come by the Urban Park every Thursday, anytime between 11:30 - 2:30 to support the Farm to Fork Campaign and help raise donations for the local food bank.
