Mining in Timmins: Past, Present, Future

The final night of this three-part series is taking a look at what is the future of Timmins. Registration is not required to attend the free sessions. It is an in-person event only and will not be recorded.

Timmins Council Meeting

Ward 1 Meeting
Thursday, Oct. 5, 6 p.m.
St. Dominque Church Hall, 365 Norman St., Timmins

In the first of a series of meetings this month, Ward 1 residents can meet with Mayor Michelle Boileau and Ward 1 Coun. Rock Whissell. The meetings are a chance for people to hear about capital projects and future plans specific to each ward. There will be opening remarks and a presentation by council members followed by a question and answer period. Questions don't have to be submitted in advance, but if you wish to do that, email your ward councillor. 

Yoga Groove

There are four nights for this event focused on tweens ages nine to 12 years old. The sessions are free and drop-ins are welcome, but you can register in advance here.

Timmins Symphony Orchestra: Northern Connections
Saturday, Oct. 7, 7:30 p.m.
École secondaire catholique Thériault

The TSO is kicking off its season with a little help from friends. The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra will be in town for a thrilling large ensemble. Buy tickets online here.
