NEWS RELEASE

Congratulations goes out to our November winner, Carrie Phibbs-Plant from Matheson!

It took four calls and one voicemail before Carrie returned our message, unfortunately, she was in an area with poor cell reception when we were trying. It didn’t take her long to call us back though, maybe 10 minutes!

Carrie wins a cool $190,055 for buying her ticket in the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation 50/50 and supporting high priority needs within our hospital.

Her Father was the first to hear the good news and suggested she buy a new pumper truck for the family business and she could choose the colour!!!

Rather than her Dad’s suggestion, Carrie will be contributing to her retirement nest egg.

Carrie has been playing from day one and knew the chances of winning were way better than other lotteries while at the same time she is able to help the hospital!

Truly a win-win!

December is the last month where the funds will be put towards our nurse call bell system upgrade for our hospital.
