This weekend temperatures are looking perfect for the 38th Annual Porcupine Ski Runners Loppet which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24.
The Loppet is a social fun event that is held yearly to help support this volunteer based club.
The nice thing about this event is you can race or join without having your time recorded and be included in the draw prizes regardless of what race, time you finish or where you finish in the race.
The race is a mass start that begins at 11:00 a.m. The Mass race includes a 20km, 8km, 3km. Skate/Classic race, the 1km Classic and the 3km. Poker Run Snowshoe races.
Registration for these races are $20.00 for Adults (18 and older) and $10.00 for Youths (Under 18 yrs).
The Awards/Draw Prizes (medals to the youths only) will begin at 1:30 pm..

Bibs can be picked up at the Chalet/office Saturday morning.
Registration closes at 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23.
