Aug. 28 update
The Timmins Police Service is advising that, Rebekah Bitternose, who had been reported as missing to the Timmins Police Service on Aug. 27, has been located.
A comprehensive search and other investigative measures were used to attempt to locate the missing person.
Bitternose was located at approximately 7 a.m. this morning and found to be in a good state of being.
This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required.
The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the general public for their assistance in regards to this matter.

Original Aug. 27 release
The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person who has been reported to them as missing.
The Timmins Police would like to determine the current whereabouts of Rebekah Bitternose, age 30. She is described as:
- an aboriginal female person
- 5’5 tall
- weighing approximately 160lbs
- medium build
- medium complexion
- brown eyes
- medium length straight blond hair
She was last seen wearing a purple tank top, black pants, black boots and a black leather jacket. She was also carrying a large brown purse.
