  • Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls

Significant snowfall expected Friday night into Saturday.

Hazards:
Snow at times heavy, total snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm possible by Saturday evening. Locally higher amounts are also possible.
Occasional blowing snow.

When:
Friday night and Saturday.

Impacts:
Snow accumulating on roadways and reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow could lead to hazardous travel conditions.

Discussion:
A strengthening low pressure system is expected to track northeast across Lake Huron on Saturday. There remains some uncertainty in the track of this low pressure system. As a result, the snowfall amounts expected could change. Warnings may be issued as the event draws nearer.
