After getting a little work done, a Timmins store is ready to show off its new look and celebrate with the community.
SportChek is unveiling its new look this Saturday, Aug. 26. The celebration starts at 9 a.m. at its location in the Timmins Square, with the first 50 customers receiving promo cards. Throughout the day, there will also be door-crasher deals, product and gift card giveaways and live music.
The location originally opened in March 2006. This year's renovations began in April and were finished at the end of July.
The new store is modern and easy to navigate and even offers pick-up lockers for people who have ordered online at least one hour in advance.
The company says the reopening is part of a larger store revitalization strategy happening at its locations across the company.
It hopes that the new interior will offer a better shopping experience just in time for back-to-school shopping.
