Local alpaca products on display at the Royal Winter Fair

FedNor president Valerie Gideon stopped by the Dream Acres Alpacas booth to meet the Matheson-area farmers

Locally made alpaca products are on display at the Royal.

FedNor president Valerie Gideon stopped by the Dream Acres Alpacas booth to talk to Jo-Anne Burton and Danielle Piquette at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

Dream Acres is a family-run farm on Highway 101 in the Matheson area. They have over 20 alpacas, which people can meet and get up close and personal with on the farm tours, and sell clothing and accessories made with alpaca wool. People can even spend the night on the farm at the Paca Shack, an Airbnb on the property, that lets you wake up to to curious alpacas poking around the windows.
