If you're craving a sweet treat, something special is setting up next weekend.

Tourism Timmins announced on Facebook that the Beaver Tails truck is returning to the parking lot at the Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre, 325 Second Ave.

It will be open Friday, July 31 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday Aug. 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"This will be a take and go event. Social distancing rules apply," reads the Facebook post.

The event is a fundraiser for the Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival, which was cancelled due to COVID-19.

The announcement says the fundraiser is "so that the event can return next year and when social distancing rules permit."
