Back in October, 2009, Clint and Albert Chartrand jumped into the recreational game by purchasing Guiho Saw Sales & Marine Ltd.
Since 2009 Clint and Albert have moved the business to a new convenient location with ease of access for customers and a state of the art facility to make day-to-day operations easier.
With their customers and attracting new customers always in mind, Guhio Saw Sales & Marine Ltd. decided to expand their business by opening Bait N Tackle store.
The new store is located on the same property as the Guihos recreational dealership just past the front of the building in the second building.
With ample room, this will make for easy access for customers that are towing their campers and boats, or just their truck and boat.
The new Team Guiho Bait N Tackle is now open. Winter hours are until Mar. 31, Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Summer hours are from Apr. 1 to Oct. 31, Monday to Wednesday 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you forgot to bring snacks or drinks, not to worry as the store will also have some snacks on hand, soft drinks, Ice for your coolers and hot drinks such as K-Cup coffee, hot chocolate, French vanilla cappuccino, and decaf coffee.
Clint wants you know that although he and Albert are avid anglers themselves, they do realize everyone fishes differently so if you don’t find the fishing item (lure, line, jig, grub, rod, reel etc) you are looking for, please tell them and they will try their best to carry it in stock.
Clint goes on to say, "Guihos Team Fishing Bait N Tackle will soon be set up online from www.guiho.ca to pre-order and pay for your minnows online, select your pick up time and your bait will be ready for you. You won’t have to waste all that time in line waiting for your bait when you can be making your way to the lake."
"For the Tournament Anglers, we will be setting up pre-orders especially for large minnows and suckers, there will be an incentive for you if you pre-order so we can be ready and have you set for those important weekends," he continued. "We will also be adding an assortment of hunting gear in the fall of 2017 along with stocking some of the more common Ammunition hunters tend to use."
