Since this a very popular event for kids and tend to fill up quickly, be sure to register your child/children in one of the 4 times slot available, 10-11 a.m., 11-12 a.m., 12-1 p.m., 1-2 p.m.

With being a kids derby, the Timmins Fur Council has Free hot dogs, pops, hot chocolate, for those little ones that may get hungry or thirsty while fishing as we all know how hard fishing is on them.

Registration requires child's name, age and a contact number or email and for what time slot.

If you haven't already had the opportunity to introduce your child to ice fishing or the sport of fishing, I highly recommend this derby as an introduction to the sport.
