TimminsToday, in partnership with the Timmins and District Humane Society and the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Spot

(Humane Society)

Spot is a sweet, loving seven-year-old cat, and she is looking for your help.

Her story is a sad one, but we are reaching out in the hopes that someone can help turn things around. Earlier this year, Spot’s beloved human lost her battle with cancer. A close friend brought her into her own home; however, she just wasn’t settling in with the other cats in the home.

Spot would be happiest in a quiet and pet-free household, where she can get the attention and affection she needs. She would love nothing more than to be able to curl up near her humans, and get all of the pets and scratches she desires.

At seven years of age, she still has a lot of love left to give and life left to live.

If you think you would be able to provide Spot with a new forever home, please contact us at 705-264-1816 or [email protected].
