Scooby

(Humane Society)

Hello, it's great to meet your acquaintance! I'm Scooby, a well-mannered, 10-year-old Chow Chow/German Shepherd medley. I recently entered the doors of the Timmins & District Humane Society because my owners opted to surrender me for rehoming due to various personal reasons.

I'm already neutered and am in the process of becoming up-to-date on deworming treatments and vaccines. I'm told that I'm very handsome, calm, and a happy boy with a great personality and many tender, loving qualities. I'm still very playful and so content to enjoy any adventures life throws my way.

I'm looking for a great retirement home and a loving family that will give me a second chance to show just what a good boy and a wonderful comrade I can be. I would be most comfortable in a home without very young children.

I have not been assessed with other dogs or cats just yet, but the staff at TDHS would be happy to help you with those questions if you are serious about my adoption. I really hope that I get to meet you soon!

Words to describe Scooby: a pleaser, loyal, gracious, handsome.

All TDHS dog and cat adoptions include the animal’s spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, deworming treatment, a sample bag of Science Diet kibble, coupons, and six pre-paid weeks of pet insurance through Pet Secure. We also facilitate small animal adoptions (e.g. ferrets, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, etc); please contact us to inquire about the adoption process for those little ones.
