Kent

(Humane Society)

Hey all! My name is Kent and I’m an 8-month-old, Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd cross. I’m hoping to find a great individual, couple, or family to provide me with the forever home I have been looking for.

I was surrendered to the Timmins & District Humane Society recently along with my brother and sister. We are a fun and energetic bunch, looking for homes together or apart.

I am definitely the biggest one so far, weighing in at 61 pounds! As you can see, I am a super handsome boy.

With all the energy I have as an excitable pup, I would definitely need a home willing to work with me on my manners – maybe even take me to some obedience lessons as now is the time! I am optimistic that I will grow up to be a well-behaved, honourable, and lovable boy.

Do you see your future with me in it? I hope so! Please come visit me; I would absolutely love to meet you.

As we celebrate the 150th birthday of our great nation, the Timmins & District Humane Society is moving forward with an ambitious plan to find homes for 150 cats this summer.

In order to help get them there as soon as possible, the TDHS is dropping the cat/kitten adoption fees by $50!

All TDHS dog and cat adoptions include the animal’s spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, deworming treatment, a sample bag of Science Diet kibble, coupons, and six pre-paid weeks of pet insurance through Pet Secure.

We also facilitate small animal adoptions (e.g. ferrets, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, etc); please contact us to inquire about the adoption process for those little ones.

Interested in adopting from the Timmins & District Humane Society? Visit us at 620 Mahoney Road in Timmins to meet our animals and to fill out an adoption application. Applications can also be downloaded at timminshumanesociety.ca and can be faxed in to 705-264-3870 or emailed to us at adoptions@timminshumanesociety.ca.

For questions about adopting, volunteering, or donating, please give us a call at 705-264-1816.
