TimminsToday, in partnership with the Timmins and District Humane Society and the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Jinx

(Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society)

Jinx is a lovely young man with the cutest cartoon meow. He's neutered, approximately four years old, and almost all black with just a smudge of white on his chest like a necktie. Very posh!

At first, he seems like a very nervous cat and will probably hide out the first few days in your home. His foster home reports he takes a few days to acclimate, but once he's feeling confident in his new space, he is such a character!

He's been great with the other cats in the house, very tidy in his litter, and redirects his scratching with only a gentle reminder. He seems to especially love the sisal scratch post.

He's very affectionate and enjoys bonking his head into everyone and everything in the house. Jinx would do great in a home without very young children and he's not been tested with dogs. He still gets skittish with loud noises or abrupt movements.

If you have space in your heart and your home for this little black shadow, he'll never steer you wrong and you'll never be alone. He'll be your buddy for life.
