TimminsToday, in partnership with the Timmins and District Humane Society and the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Doris

(Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society)

Doris is a medium sized, six-year-old spayed dark tabby. She is a quiet, indoor cat that would do well in a apartment or small home.

She would be a great companion for someone who is looking for a low maintenance kitty. Doris is not very interested in playing with toys but does like to watch movies in bed with her favourite human. She loves to lie next to you on a pillow and you can expect Doris to sleep next to you all night.

She is litter trained and likes being picked up. She gets along well with dogs but can be skittish around other cats, especially other females. Doris is currently fostered with a male kitten and two Labrador Retrievers.

Doris is soft, gentle soul that would love to have a human all to herself.

If you can be her human, please apply at www.noaws.com or email [email protected] for more info.
