Hi everyone, my name is Cookie. I’m a six-year-old medium-sized border collie mix. I look big in my picture but I’m only about 35-40 lbs.

I am looking for my new human to call my own. I unfortunately suffered a loss not long ago that left me with no home. Graciously people came to help me through my time of grief and brought me to my new foster mommy. I really like it here.

I have made some new cat friends. I like cats and get along really well with them. My foster mom tells me I would fit in better with a home that has no other dogs as in her words I’m a dominant female. I growl when another dog comes into my space and not very sociable with others.

I’m not without hope though. I get along well with my foster doggy sister. My foster mommy says it’s because she’s submissive.

I’m outgoing and love life! I like to go for walks and love to run. I like to play with my stuffies, the bigger the better. I’m good with kids age five and up. People talk about babies but I’ve never seen one.

I like to lay on the couch with you and cuddle but I can also kick it on my own. I’m told everyday that I’m well behaved when foster mom goes to work. I don’t make messes, but come ‘on, I’m six not a puppy anymore lol.

I love my foster mom but I would really love to find my own family that can love me and we can do all sorts of fun stuff. If you can give me a forever loving home, I will be your loyal companion. Please apply at www.noaws.com or email [email protected] for more info.
