(Humane Society)

Bonjour, je m’appelle Catin! I’m a beautiful, 3-year-old, Husky and German Shepherd cross who’s currently up for adoption at the Timmins & District Humane Society.

I’ve been at the animal shelter for approximately two months, and while I’ve made lots of friends there, I cannot wait to get into the loving arms of my new pet parents.

TDHS staff cannot figure out why I haven’t been adopted yet since I’m so lovely and friendly. I’ve even been told that I have great manners, especially when given commands in French.

I’ve been learning lots of new things at the shelter including not to jump up when I’m excited, how to sit for treats, and I’ve even been learning English as a second language! Soon, I’ll be a bilingual girl. How cool is that?

I would love to have a new home of my very own and am eager to provide companionship for a wonderful individual, couple, or family. I grew up in a house with other dogs, so with the proper introduction, I should do well with a new K-9 brother and/or sister.

I would be most at ease in a home without cats or young children. I’m a calm, independent, and very loveable girl. In terms of lifestyle, I enjoy both going on adventures and spending time relaxing at home.

Please come visit me at the Timmins & District Humane Society to get to know me a little better. I’ll show you just how sweet and loving I really am, and at the same time, TDHS staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have about pet adoption! See you soon.

All TDHS dog and cat adoptions include the animal’s spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, deworming treatment, a sample bag of Science Diet kibble, coupons, and six pre-paid weeks of pet insurance through Pet Secure. We also facilitate small animal adoptions (e.g. ferrets, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, etc); please contact us to inquire about the adoption process for those little ones.
