A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and pick-up truck were involved in a fatal crash that closed one of the main roads into Timmins for about 13 hours.
On April 25 just before 1 a.m., South Porcupine OPP says it was called to a crash on Highway 101 west of Frederick House Lake Road. One person was killed.
While police are confirming that the collision involved a CMV and pickup truck, no further details have been released.
The highway reopened around 2 p.m. on April 25.
The investigation is ongoing with the help of the traffic incident management enforcement (TIME) team and the Ontario forensic pathology service.
