Two of three creepy incidents deemed 'unsubstantiated'

On October 7, 2014, the Timmins Police Service received a third report of a male person attempting to lure a young person into his vehicle.

The information that was received proved to be very similar to the other two calls which had been report on October 3 and 6 2014.

The Timmins Police Service Criminal Investigation Unit has taken over the investigations and has determined that today’s incident, as well as the incident on the October 6 2014 are both unsubstantiated.

We continue to investigate the initial incident which was reported on October 3, 2014.

Police are still attempting to identify the individual involved in the incident that was reported on October 3, 2014.

The driver is described as a caucasian in his 30s with thick hair and facial hair.

He was observed driving a four door-sedan, silver in colour with tinted windows.

The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of the vehicle.
