MOOSONEE – On July 29, 2014 members of the Moosonee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) as well as the Moosonee Fire Department responded to a fire in a residence located on Ferguson Road.

The residence was found to be vacant and the Fire Department was able to extinguish the flames, however extensive damage was already caused.

The Moosonee OPP is appealing to the public for assistance in this matter.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible should immediately contact the Moosonee OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (705) 336-2320, or their nearest police authority.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
