BREAKING: Timmins has a new mayor

The unofficial results are in for the election and Timmins has a new mayor.

George Pirie has been elected as the mayor.

Pirie unseated incumbent Steve Black, who has served as mayor for one term. 

Black posted a concession message on Facebook:

Due to technical difficulties, voting was extended by an hour to allow people a chance to get to the polls.
