The Timmins Police Service has charged a local person with a number of Criminal Code offences stemming from an incident that occurred on the Kamiskotia Road yesterday afternoon.

The Timmins Police Service received a report of a vehicular altercation between two parties who are known to each other. The investigation revealed that the suspect drove her vehicle while performing manoeuvres in a repetitive manner that intimidated the other driver.

The investigation further revealed that this is a continuation of hostilities between the two parties that has resulted in a police response earlier in the year resulting in Criminal Code charges.

Based on these previous charges, the suspect is bound by strict conditions imposed upon her by the provincial court.

As a result of the yesterday’s incident, Casee Wright, 29, of Timmins, has been charged with:

Criminal harassment contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada - fail to comply with undertaking contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

At present, Wright is in police custody for the purposes of a bail hearing slated for today at provincial court in Timmins, to answer to the charges laid against her.
